The American Invasion of Russia

Paul McNamee is the guest blogger today over at Home of Heroics.  His post is about the American invasion of Russia at the end of World War I.  I suspect many of you are asking, "What invasion?  I didn't know America invaded Russia.  When and how did this happen?"  Read Paul's post and find out.

And don't forget to comment.  Everyone who comments on one of this week's posts (posted Monday, Wednesday, or Friday) will be entered in a drawing to win a limited edition copy of Rage of the Behemoth.  It's a fantastic anthology, so comment early and comment often.

  1. Thanks!

I originally did research on the subject years ago for a screenplay I wrote.

After my screenwriters group did a review, one member (who arrived late) complemented me on the story and asked, "So, is this what they call 'alternate history'?" Though I had fictionalized aspects of my tale, I assured her that historically, it really happened.

  2. You're welcome.

It's unfortunate that so many people know so little history. There are all sorts of fascinating things in the details the politically correct let's-not-offend-anybody textbooks leave out.
